The Sikh History – Book 1

The Sikh History Book 1, is written for children aged 11 years and above. This book is a student workbook where the student answers questions in the book on the material covered. The aim of this book is to introduce the student to key facts about the life and times of Guru Nanak and Guru Nanak’s vision. The book covers the following topics:

• History and timelines
• Political, social and religious times before Guru Nanak
• The life and times of Guru Nanak
• The vision and revolution of Guru Nanak
• How to give a good presentation

The book is divided into 10 lessons. The lesson aims, objectives and vocabulary are given at the beginning of each lesson. There are review questions, test yourself questions, vocabulary tests and extended learning activities for each lesson. The student is taken through the material step-by-step.
